The president of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Nursultan Nazarbayev, issued the decree on celebration of the professional holiday on May 12, 2008 in accordance with the Article 4 of the RK Law “On Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan” dated December 13, 2001.
As the message says, new professional holiday in the national calendar is indicative of important role that the nuclear power industry plays in the national economy development.
Nowadays, Kazatomprom is an example of dynamically developing alliance based on achievements of the national science. Technological and technical platforms developed under the auspices of Kazatomprom in the field of uranium production and processes are the most advanced in the world. Production of this strategic raw material by the Kazatomprom companies is carried out in the very environmentally friendly and economically efficient way using the underground leaching method.
Today, Baiken-U LLP is celebrating the Nuclear Power Industry holiday at the Kharassan-2 mine same as all the other production companies of the industry. Employees of Baiken-U LLP have achieved good results by the day of their professional holiday! It was determined this year that the whole production process will be transformed in accordance with the objectives determined by Kazatomprom NNC JSC. Uranium production and processing was performed in accordance with the production program.
New block of the shift camp for 80 people was put into operation at the Harassan-2 mine. Sports ground with artificial turf and race track was built for the production workers. Current renovation work was carried out in all administrative and production premises of the mine and shift camp. All offices, workshops and residential quarters of the employees have also been renovated.
In celebration of the nuclear power industry holiday, sports competition was planned and held. Winners were awarded with prizes and honorary certificates. The concert program was organized with the participation of talented workers and employees both from production and engineering sides.
People liked the holiday and they will remember it. We are sure that Baiken-U LLP under auspices of its Director General - B.A. Berdaliyev, is able to solve not only production issues and tasks but also to prove out oneself in all versatile talents.
