Meruert Zhaxybekova holds a higher education degree in Economics and has many years of experience in the financial and economic sector.

In 2001, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov.
In 2024, she obtained a Global MBA degree from Astana School of Management and Business (ASMB), specializing in International Management. She is fluent in Kazakh and Russian.

She has a total work experience of 28 years, including 18 years with the NAC Kazatomprom JSC system. She has over 16 years of experience in executive positions.

She began her professional career in the system in 2008 at “Mining Company of Kazatomprom” LLP. From 2010, she worked at Karatau LLP, and since 2017 — at Semyzbay-U LLP in executive positions within the financial and economic division.

Since March 2026, she has held the position of Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance at Baiken-U LLP.
